Horse Helpers
Horse Helper volunteers partner in accomplishing our mission by helping to maintain the horses and facilities at arranged times throughout the week. Individuals and families come weekly, generally for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. You must be able to be outdoors and around hay, dust, and horses, can lift 40 lbs., and not mind getting dirty! Complete the online application or call our office at (513)899-4347 with any questions.
Groups can schedule a work day for a badge or community service.
Individuals seeking Community Service should contact the Volunteer Coordinator at admin@heavenwardfarm.org
X-treme HorsePower Staff
Volunteers are the backbone of our outreach to children and teens who need a consistent, caring adult in their lives. Our goal is to have a 1:1 Volunteer to Youth match to facilitate relationships built on respect, trust, working together and showing God's love through our actions. You must display good character, enjoy working with kids and with horses in the outdoors, be physically able to move around and lift 25 lbs, and commit to at least one season of X-treme Horse Power.
Orientation and opportunities for ongoing training are provided. To join our fun and caring team, complete the online or downloadable application and contact us at admin@heavenwardfarm.org or call (513) 899-4347.
DAY CAMP Volunteer Staff
If you enjoy the outdoors, children and horses, then you will love helping us run X-treme HorsePower Day Camps during the Summer. We also need skills in designing and leading Crafts, helping kids with fishing, leading games, and just being a fun role model for them. You must have availability during the day for at least one week, preferably two of the three camps.
Event and Support Volunteers
We have Community Outreach and fund-raising events throughout the year, and if you enjoy planning and coordinating events then you could be an asset to our organization. Volunteers who enjoy working with horses and people but are unable commit to consistent participation can help with events involving horses.
We also have a need for assistance with ministry Support functions such as keeping databases current, sending out mailings, PR and social media, and website maintenance.
